Breathe.

It's time to breathe. To take stock of what we've done so far to our house, take a deep breath and dive in to finish everything we can ourselves. Today I have spent a good three or four hours raking knee high  grass clumps out of my veggie patch, cutting back trees and removing dead lumps of wood from useful patches of dirt. Garden bed is almost weed and grass free, it then needs to be turned.  Then we have at least three fortnights worth of green bin loads to live through before the courtyard bricks will be clear of crap again.

To separate my veggie beds I am using the branches that fall from the trees and into our yard. I am tying them together with string that arrived on parcels my sister sent my kids. I'm quite chuffed at being able to reuse these things together and look forward to being able to photograph them when they're laid in place. The previous owners also left a lot of these kinds of bricks around which I have decided will be great to contain some of the herbs.

In the house we are ready to paint the second coat of paint, which looks like indigo when wet and dries to TARDIS blue after a few days, onto the toilet walls and hang pictures in the lounge room on the feature wall. Also packing up second bookcase in lounge room ready to paint wall a colour called Sugar Cookie which is a latte - esque shade.
